Ryan Lacy was presented with a $500 bursary by Financial Secretary Anthony Allen on September 24. Ryan was performing his duties as acolyte at the 8:30 mass.
The Knights of Columbus Scholarships are meeting a continuing and an important obligation in the future of our families and our youth. this is a one time bursary awarded annually. It is available to all children, grandchildren, spouses and the members themselves to assist in furthering their education when registered full time at a college or university. The qualifications include academics, athletics, community services, church services, work experience and need. There are three bursaries available in five areas of Alberta/Northwest Territories. The bursaries recognize the Knights of Columbus commitment to education and our families. The deadline for application is in May and the application forms are available online or from any member of the Knights of Columbus. |
