A special reminder
that The Catholic Archdiocese of Edmonton will be celebrating its 100th
Anniversary with a Jubilee 100 Gala upcoming on Wednesday, November 21.
It’s a time to celebrate our rich history and to look ahead to the next
century. We’d love to have you join us.
We have come a long
way from our humble beginnings, and God has blessed us with a marvellous
abundance. In witness and gratitude to His generosity, let us share with
those who need our help and financial assistance through the Gala!
All proceeds from
the Jubilee Gala will be split between St. Vincent de Paul Society, known
for its service to the poor and needy, and the northern Diocese Mackenzie-Fort Smith,
with whom we are beginning a new twinning arrangement. The twinning is a
long-term bilateral relationship which will involve much more than just
financial help from us. However, the proceeds from this event are a great way to kick off this special friendship.
