Greetings Brothers,

The parish will hold a Penitential Lenten Celebration on the evening of Tuesday, March 9. As this date conflicts with our March general meeting, this meeting will be cancelled. I expect that all Brother Knights will attend this sacrament with their friends and family.

February 6 is the Parish Pasta Night. This Parish family event is expected to be a full house. Please lend a hand to make the evening a success. Bro. Arnold Lorenz would gladly accept your help.

The Alberta state curling bonspiel is scheduled for March 12/13 in Calgary. St. Albert the Great Council is the host. Get your rink gathered. More information will follow.

The state Hockey Tournament is in Wainwright March 20/21. If there are council members interested in playing please let me or another council executive know.

A reminder, the Basket Ball Free Throw final is Saturday, March 20. Bro Miguel will need assistance.

I have been asked to assist Fr. Denis Hebert in addressing the parish about his good works in Nicaragua. Tentatively Tuesday, May 25 is set aside for Fr. Denis to be at the Parish. We will discuss how the council can help at February general meeting. I would like to have someone come forward to Chair this effort. Please contact me if you are interested.
