What a great month we have experienced in April, charities appeal sales, 1^st Degree exemplification, major degree exemplification, pancake breakfast. If you didn’t experience any of these events we held, you missed some great opportunities to show your dedication to our founder Father Michael J. McGivney.  These events were excellent opportunities to renew your commitment to your Knighthood and to your order, and to apply the Principles of Charity, Unity, and Fraternity in your lives, as we promised.

April was the month for State Convention which was held in Calgary. I am pleased to advise that Father Bonner Council #7599 received the 2012-2013 First Runner Up State Council Award for Council of the Year.  Under the leadership of Brother Al Girard, Father Bonner Council set a new record for Charity appeal ticket sales.  Thank you to all that assisted him.

May is the Month of Mary, the Mother of God, Patron of the Americas and Queen of the Knights.  In keeping with this Marian theme for May, remember our Marian Mass on May 6, 2013.

Please plan to attend our Council meeting at 7:30 pm on May 14^th beginning with Mass at 7:00 pm.  We will need Brothers to assist as an Adult Server, Readers and Extraordinary Ministers.  Please assist in any of these roles if you can.

Keep in mind that we will be celebrating our year end accomplishments Saturday June 15, 2013 at the Parish Hall.  This is also the night that the new officers will be inducted.
