Greetings Brothers,Last Thursday ten men went through First Degree Exemplification and it is a pleasure to welcome them to our Council. Please get to know them and to offer assistance and guidance as they learn more about our order.
A signup sheet will be circulated at the November Council meeting as we will need volunteers for the upcoming Seniors' Social. It's a very popular event where we play host to the seniors of our parish, but it's labour-intensive. We will require help to set up the hall and to work in the kitchen before, during and after the event. Please lend a hand.
Soon we will also be asking for volunteers to man the ticket booth at Southgate and at Bonnie Doon Shopping Centers. The shifts are easy, and are of a three-hour duration. This Charities Appeal is one of our largest fund-raising events.
