 Brothers;

Jeannette and I wish each of you Brothers and your families a Holy, Blessed Easter. May the Risen Lord grant you good health and peace.

A number of our members assisted with the Easter services and celebrations at the church. I extend special appreciation to those Brothers who assisted with the Way of the Cross and Good Friday service. I have had good comments about our participation.

The State Convention was held on April 25 to 27. DGK Jeremy Sit and I were delegates on behalf of our Council.  Unfortunately, our Council did not receive any awards. This is the first time for quite a few years. The most significant  item is that the casino resolution was defeated.

Our Council held a Pancake Breakfast on April 27th. I understand that  we had a real good attendance. Thanks to Brothers Real Demers and Arnold  Lorenz, and everyone else who helped. Great Job!

May is the Month of Mary, the Mother of God, Patron of the Americas and Queen of the Knights. As usual, we will be participating in the Marian Mass on May 5th. You and your families are urged to attend.

It is recommended that we participate in the March for Life on May 8th to support the Pro Life movement  against  abortion.

The Council elections shall be conducted at the May 13th general meeting. I urge you to consider a position on the executive. In particular, we require a Recorder, Warden and Trustee. Also, not included in the elections, but we require Brothers to fill other positions in the Service Program. Please consider this to assist incoming Grand Knight Jeremy Sit.
