Outdoor Way of the Cross

 

The 31st annual Outdoor Way of the Cross will consider the theme Healing a Broken World. The walk invites people to think about issues of social justice in today’s world, locally and internationally, by taking part in a prayer walk through the urban core of Edmonton on Good Friday, with music and presentations at several “stations” related to the theme. The two kilometre walk is reasonable for most ages and abilities.

 

When:  Friday, April 22, 10 AM – Noon

 

Where:  Begins and ends at Alex Taylor School  (9321 Jasper Avenue)

The Outdoor Way of the Cross is a community event sponsored by the Edmonton and District Council of Churches. Everyone is welcome. Food donations will be welcomed at the beginning of the walk and refreshments available after the final station..
