Financial Secretary Anthony Allen presents a $500 check to our Seminarian, Deacon Khai Phan on behalf of the members of Father Bonner Council 7599.

One of the many endeavours of the Knights of Columbus is to offer support to our clergy and Seminarians. We  believe that it is important to ensure young Catholics who heed the call to vocations in our faith receive the assistance that they require.

 

Father Bonner Council of the Knights of Columbus have annually made funds available to Seminarians. Three years ago our young Seminarian, Michael Shumaker was the recipient of our financial help. Father Michael Shumaker is now a priest in Saint Theresa's Parish.

 

Last year we aided a seminarion from Regina. This year we are fortunate to have a young Seminarian assigned to our parish, and we are pleased to present a check for five hundred dollars to Deacon Khai Phan who is well on his way to becoming a priest.
