News items from 2015–2016
As we come to a close on the 2015–2016 Columbian year, I’d like to take this opportunity to look back at the end of my two years as Grand Knight. It has been quite an adventure and a learning and eye-opening experience.
Columbian Year 2015–2016 has now come to an end. However, our charitable work as a Council continues as we enter the new Columbian Year on July 1. We will resume our meetings and activities in September.
At the 2016 AB/NWT State Convention, Fr. Bonner Council 7599 was presented with several Surge with Service program awards.
We sure need the help of the Holy Spirit given what has transpired in our province with the out-of-control wildfires destroying large parts of Fort McMurray and threatening many other areas.

Knights and Ladies of Fr. Bonner Council 7599 contributed 39 volunteer days during two Habitat for Humanity “Build Days” on September 11 and 12, 2015.
The Memorial to the Unborn was blessed at the end of Mass on Monday, December 28, the Feast Day of the Holy Innocents.
